A little nervousness before a test is common; a panic attack is not. Frequently students come to the counseling office to talk with us about test anxiety. Since this anxiety has such a broad range, it is often very difficult to pinpoint what strategies can help a student through this difficult situation. I recently ran across an online article which does a very nice job outlining strategies that might be successful with many students. It serves as a great starting point to relieve the anxiety.
