The Foundation Board of Directors has once again voted to offer the Experience ICC Scholarship to those students looking to enroll in summer courses. As you may recall, this scholarship is awarded to individuals who have never taken a course at ICC (students who previously completed dual credit or GED courses are eligible to partake).

CENTRAL COLLEGE OFFERS SUMMER-ONLY SCHOLARSHIPS
TO FIRST-TIME ICC STUDENTS
Illinois
Central College again will offer its “Experience ICC”
scholarships to anyone within the college’s district who has never
taken a class at the college. The scholarships are available on a
first-come, first-served basis and cover half of the cost of summer
tuition, with a maximum of six credit hours and/or $375. Students may
enroll full- or part-time in any major but must have a 2.0 or better
high school or college grade point average. If it has been more than
four years since the student has attended high school or college, the
GPA requirement is waived.
To
be eligible for the scholarships, students must first apply to ICC
online at http://icc.edu/admissions/enrollment/apply-now/
Applicants
will receive an ICC student identification number by email within 48
hours. This identification number will be needed when
applying for the “Experience ICC” scholarships. The scholarships
are not based on need, and a Free Application for Federal Student Aid
(FAFSA) is not required for eligibility. Students who have
completed dual credit classes or their GED at ICC are still eligible.
