AIM HIGH - Making College Possible for More Families

The AIM HIGH Grant helps Illinois students cover the cost of attending one of the state’s 12 public four-year universities. It’s a renewable, merit- and need-based award designed to keep talented students in-state and reduce student debt.

💰 What It Covers

  • All tuition and fees for full-time undergrads (does not include housing)

  • Renewable each year if eligibility is maintained

  • May be matched by additional university funding

Who’s Eligible

  • Illinois high school graduates

  • First-time college students at a participating public university

  • Illinois residents who file the FAFSA and show financial need

  • Meet GPA or test score requirements set by each university
